I was already contemplating going to the Gavin Newsom town hall on the 18th, when a friend asked me to take photos at both the fundraiser and the town hall. Of course I said yes. It's still too early for me to have decided who I'm going to back for governor, but I'm pretty happy with how the photos turned out.
On a side note, I personally much prefer the town hall photos to the fundraiser ones. At the fundraiser, I felt more like an event photographer, where as at the town hall, I felt like an actual photojournalist. Or maybe it's just because the town hall was lit a lot better and I didn't have to use flash at all.
I'm sure a lot of people are lobbying you for that endorsement :)
