I was down at Rice at the W Hotel this day photographing a fundraiser for Gavin Newsom (photos of that coming soon). This is one of the lighting fixtures there, and it won out over the shot of the hotel itself below because the lines in the texture of the light makes the photo almost look like a drawing.

The light fixture is real good. Just enough texture. Reminds me of the old movie "Grand Hotel."
