The dates for Coachella 2009 were released today - April 17th, 18th, and 19th. I wouldn't be mentioning it, but Pitchfork confirmed that they'd like me to shoot it again, so I went and booked a hotel room.
Here. It's only 5 miles away from the polo fields, so that's promising. Considering that last year I stayed in Palm Springs, and the time before that in Joshua Tree National Park.
And it was cheaper than Holiday Inn Express. I'm not really sure how to explain that one. Not that the amenities really matter, since I spent a total of maybe 4 hours awake in our hotel room over all three days last year.
If anyone else needs a place to crash for Coachella and wants to help me split the bill, let me know...
