Photos: San Diego Zoo
On the last full day that my brother was in town, we spent 7 hours at the SD Zoo. We saw pretty much everything. Except the pandas.
I used my 55-250mm lens exclusively that day. What did I learn? That I need to get a polarizing filter for that lens. Because the coolest animals are behind glass, and reflections suck.
It was a really fun day, and we closed it out with some tacos at South Beach and then fell asleep early, since it had been a string of late nights for us and my brother's flight left pretty early the next morning.
Dang, great Zoo photos. Very nice, all of them. Especially dig the antique chimpanzee shot (or is that a bonobo?)
