Links Galore

Found some great stuff on the internet today (that's what it's for, right?). Perfect for when your SDS-PAGE gel is leaking buffer out one side so you have to get up every five minutes to transfer buffer from the bottom of the chamber to the top. It's...pretty awesome.

Most of this stuff is from Kottke.org, except for the first link, which came via Largehearted Boy:

The Music Nerd's Burden
. Yeah.

Slow-motion skateboarding video. Beautiful.

Bowser's Minions. For fans of Super Mario Brothers. I am now possessed with a strange urge to play some Super Mario Brothers 2.

  2. Well, I take full credit for this one. I poured the gel myself, and when I took the comb out, part of the side of the gel came too. But no worries, it ran okay, I just had to babysit it.

  3. That skate vid is awesome. 120fps, they must be the most well-cameraed ever....anyways did you see where they were shooting, at like sosme 400 year old(ish, maybe) great piece of community property built for prosperity...you can skate all over the place legally in foriegn countries. Treat people like adults and they'll act like adults. Places designed before skateboards were ever..but still work
