I don't know where the lens cap to my 20mm Sigma f1.8 lens is.
It's not in my camera bag/purse, and it's not, you know, on the lens itself.
Which is weird because I'm not a person who loses things. I'm a person who finds things. I think that was actually my primary role in my relationship with Joe.
"Have you seen my inhaler? I'm having trouble breathing..." "Bathroom counter." Or "under that pile of papers on your desk." Or "in the center console of my car."
It's not like I paid special attention to where he put his keys, or his inhaler, or his cell phone. I just...knew...where they were.
Although, now that I think about it, I have a pretty good idea of where this lens cap is. It's just not anywhere in my house. Meaning I'll probably stop at George's on the way to the grocery store at some point today and pick up a new one.
At least there's a UV filter on that lens to protect it in the meantime. Although, speaking of it, that lens has been frustrating me more and more lately. Starting to think about the possibility of getting a new wide-angle lens. Except, oh yeah, I'm poor.
Crap.

I've repeatedly expressed my wish that our last names still reflected our occupation and/or skills. If that were the case, I would definitely be known as Kelly FinderOfBen'sStuff. Looks Welsh. I can dig.
ReplyDeleteWhat's disappointing you about the lens?
ReplyDeleteThe focusing of the lens is extremely clunky (I've heard this is a general problem with Sigma lenses on Canon mounts) and it's pretty soft wide-open. Almost useless for concert photography, which is pretty much the reason I bought it.
