If you're wondering what I was up to this past weekend, well, Thursday and Friday were all about stuffing myself.
Then I got bored with not going into work (seriously, I rarely have free time so I never really know what to do with it), so I planted my ass in a desk chair all weekend in order to finish up a site redesign for my photography website.

I'm glad I got that out of the way, because I've got a ton of science to do between now and December 18th, when I fly back to the East Coast for Christmas. I managed to get the first round of mass spec done on my sample, but it's pretty dirty. My protein's in there, but in super-low abundance compared to everything else. So time to rethink the purification a bit (which means adding a second step), and then get on with it. Things are moving, at least. I'm pretty ecstatic about that.
