Hang gliding appears to be awesome!!! Kinda like sailing only with the fear for your life rush that all the war-vets get addicted to. Ever since nintendo's game(summer games?) i've been facinated but haven't found myself hurled off a cliff, yet.
Natalie I saw your picture because I have a google-alert for "hang gliding."
If you really want to follow up on this make sure you get hooked up with a good school with a good instructor. There are several in your area. I would start with the links to be found on http://ozreport.com/ or http://www.ushpa.aero/ -- if you go through with it your life will never be the same again.
Just for clarification, your picture is of a para-glider, which is a form of hang glider. The "real" hang gliders are the ones with a rigid structure to the wing -- harder to carry around but able to handle turbulence.
I'm a multidimensional character playing myself in the script I wrote about my life. Talk to me about music, books, photography, art, science, politics. Chances are if it sparks your interest, it'll spark mine too. Learning is fun, and I'm not at all insecure about my intelligence. If you know more than me about something (and you probably do), feel free to enlighten me. Thoughts are what make life interesting.
