Night Exposures: I-15 North
While biking home from the Ken Theater after a showing of I'm Not There about a week and a half ago, I found a nifty pedestrian/bike bridge over I-15 near 40th and Monroe. I had my Holga with me, because the thing weighs next to nothing, so I took some long exposure shots of the headlights from the freeway.
2 second exposure:

how was "i'm not there"? worth the 11 bucks the local indie theater charges, or should i wait for dvd? do you have a remote shutter release for your holga? i ask a lot of questions, apparently.
ReplyDeleteIt was good, if a tad surreal. I've been on a Dylan kick lately anyway, so that helped. $11 is kinda expensive, but probably still worth it, at least for seeing Jim James and Calexico perform "Going to Acapulco" during a funeral scene. That song is ridiculously good.
ReplyDeleteI do not have a remote shutter release for the Holga. Apparently you can make (or buy) them, but I just did it the old fashioned way - set the camera on a ledge and held the shutter trigger down with my finger the whole time. Obviously I'm not planning on doing any super-long exposure shots anytime soon...
