I do love me some t-shirts and hoodies...

I'm a sucker for a nice hoodie or a sweet t-shirt, and well, you can't really beat the designs or the idea behind the Yellow Bird Project's line of clothes. They ask bands to design t-shirts, and then the proceeds from these shirts go to a charity of the band's choosing. Past beneficiaries have included St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Safe Space, and Mercy Corps, along with many others. So far, twenty-three bands have contributed designs, including The National, Broken Social Scene, the Shins, and Bon Iver.

And speaking of sweet t-shirts, Sezio just recently opened up an online store. This coincides with the launch of their Artist Series, featuring Wes Bruce, Andrew Heine, Joel P West, and Mike Maxwell. Each of these artists have taken a piece of their artwork and adapted it to a t-shirt. Profits from these shirts will be split evenly with the artists.

...and speaking of Sezio, they're also launching an Artist Exchange Program with Brooklyn-based artist Morgan Blair today and tomorrow (August 14th and 15th) downtown at the Luce Loft (1037 J. St). Morgan has been living and working at the loft all week, and her exhibit will be open to the public from 6-10PM both days. Sezio will also be screen printing a custom t-shirt and artist print to be sold at the event.
