This was my second time seeing Sleeping People live, if you count the half a set I caught at the Soda Bar a month before this show. Their set was full of mind-melting math rock, as anyone who's familiar with them would expect.
Unfortunately, all the members of the band, excluding the drummer, were standing in virtual darkness. So all you get is a few photos of the drummer, but I hope they convey some of the crazy energy that was present in the Casbah that night.
I like these! Even as a guitar player, I find myself watching Brandon play the drums for most of their set. I'm kind of glad they moved him up front.
