I went into work yesterday. Sunday. I ended up being there for close to 6 hours.
At the end of this stretch (4 of those hours were spent doing tissue culture, and boy was my entire right side feeling it today), I headed to the bathroom. It's located in a hallway between the lab space and all the offices in the lobby of the building.
It was as I was entering this hallway that I realized I had my belt entirely undone already. I wasn't even in the BATHROOM, let alone the privacy of a stall. What's worse is that the belt was totally undone before I even realized what I was doing.
This is something that happens at home. Alone. Not in the workplace, no matter how deserted it happens to be. No matter if I spend more time there than at home these days.
What am I turning into?
Oh, that's right. A grad student who actually has the motivation and drive to get her research done and GTFO. I just hope I can hang onto said motivation long enough.
And, you know, keep my pants on until I'm actually in the bathroom next time. Oops.
For the record, here's what I spent that time listening to on my iPod:
Crooked Fingers -Dignity and Shame
The One AM Radio - This Too Will Pass
Minus the Bear - Menos El Oso
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
Explosions in the Sky - The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place
Okkervil River - Black Sheep Boy
