This is me, apparantly modeling the latest trends in hipster pirate fashion. It was my costume for a pirate party on Saturday night. The shirt, tank top, bandanna, shoes, and beads I already had around the house. The eyepatch and striped socks were purchased at 826 Valencia when I was in San Francisco, and the knickers/shants came from Loehmann's, of all places, for $10. Fittingly, two of the buttons fell off that night, but at least I had the wherewithal (even after all that grog I consumed) to save them.
that's a mighty satiny eye-patch for a pirate... good sneer though.
ReplyDeletedude I bought it at a PIRATE store. everyone at the party asked me if it was a "real" surgical eyepatch. my response was the truth - i bought it in blue to match my other eye.
