Goal for Today
My goal for today's photo is to get a decent shot of the sunset. To this end, I'm now heading to Sunset Cliffs with a camp chair, tripod, camera equipment, and a book. As I learned at the Grand Canyon, the best sunset shots come after the sun has actually set. I'm hoping today's sunset is at least 1/10th as grand as yesterday's - I was driving south on 805 at the time and caught the pink clouds gracing the sky over Mission Valley. I'm still kicking myself that I missed it.

I'd say sunsets are one of those things that you can't say "I'm taking a good shot today". You just have to prepared for when a good one happens.
