Pete Just Reminded Me Why I Used to Read The Onion
Fact: I used to be in marching band in high school. What instrument did I play? The flute, of course (and piccolo senior year). And yes, I was still in high school when American Pie came out. Sigh.
I don't think the Onion can ever top their Holy Shit, Man Walks on Fucking Moon story though. Mostly because I find swear words in inappropriate situations exceedingly funny. Or their McDonald's Drops 'Hammurderer' Character from Advertising article. "Stabble Stabble Stabble," indeed.

Or the cable-news-looking graphic logo they used for their "coverage" of 9/11, with the slogan "Holy Fucking Shit" -- akin to "Stormwatch 2007" or whatever.
